About Yvonne

Since being diagnosed with breast cancer in 2011, Acupuncture was one of a complimentary treatment that first introduced me to the complexities, but fundamental changes, to my approach in life. I subsequently embarked on a course in Chinese medicine to both instruct and inform my condition. This led to a rigorous  training of three years at the Northern College of Acupuncture, established in York, where I was successful in gaining a B.Sc. degree in enabling me to be a proficient practitioner in the the holistic arts

Acupuncture is becoming a popular alternative therapy with around 3000 qualified acupuncturists in the UK that are currently registered with the British Acupuncture Council. It is the largest professional/self-regulatory body for the practice of traditional acupuncture, with 2.3 million treatments being undertaken each year.
